*Developing and Utilizing LSSSS aligned formative and summative assessments to meet the needs of students
2024 ELA Guidebooks for Grades 6-8
*Initial Training
Consultant(s) will engage participants in the components of the curriculum including assessments, design, resources, unpacking a unit and diverse learner supports.
*Launching a Curriculum
Consultant(s) will provide classroom teacher support for implementing a curriculum effectively with layers of professional learning including backward design, lesson planning, annotating lessons, modeling, coaching, monitoring systems, evaluation, feedback, and critical reflection.
*Intervention
Consultant(s) will assist teachers with organizing and implementing small groups to meet the needs of all learners based on data.
2022 ELA Guidebooks for Grades 3-5
*Training for the new 3-5 Guidebooks to examine resources
*Examining assessments, unpacking units and planning lessons with teachers
*Modeling and Coaching shoulder-to-shoulder with teachers using the revised 3-5 ELA Guidebooks
*Using aligned formative and summative assessments to adjust instruction and meet the needs of all students including interventions
Math REFRESH
Support teachers with:
*Using assessments (Backward Design) to plan effective instruction
*Prioritizing student engagement in high quality grade-level core math instruction
*Analyzing data and timely, proactive interventions
*Utilizing FLAME: Foundational Lessons to Accelerate Math Education for K-5 to provide teachers additional resources for building foundational math skills and fluency
